1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using SafeEdit (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App immediately.
2. Description of Service
SafeEdit is a Shopify application that allows merchants to bulk edit product data (prices, inventory, tags, status, etc.) with preview and rollback capabilities. The App operates within your Shopify admin and modifies product data through the Shopify Admin API.
3. Plans and Billing
- Free plan: Limited to 100 product edits per day with 7-day rollback history.
- Pro plan ($14.99/month): Unlimited product edits, 30-day rollback history, CSV import/export, scheduled edits, auto-revert promotions, recurring edits, and SEO bulk editing.
Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's built-in subscription system. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your Shopify admin. Refunds are subject to Shopify's app billing policies.
4. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the changes you apply to your products through the App.
- You should review the preview before applying bulk edits.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account.
- You must comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Rollback and Data Safety
SafeEdit creates automatic snapshots before each bulk edit to enable rollback. However:
- Snapshots are retained for 7 days (Free) or 30 days (Pro), after which they are permanently deleted.
- Rollback restores product data to its state at the time of the snapshot. Changes made outside of SafeEdit after the snapshot are not captured.
- We do not guarantee that rollback will succeed in all circumstances (e.g., if a product has been deleted from Shopify).
6. Limitation of Liability
SafeEdit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
- We are not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, or data loss resulting from bulk edits, failed rollbacks, or service interruptions.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App depends on Shopify's API and infrastructure, which are outside our control. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.
8. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. When you uninstall the App, all your data is permanently deleted.
9. Termination
You may stop using SafeEdit at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these terms or Shopify's policies.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
